Mentor profile – Roxie Bennett

Roxie Bennett is predominantly known through her on-air radio career at both K-rock and Bay 93.9 that has spanned close to 30 years and continues today as the co-host of The Catch Up on Bay 93.9.

Apart from radio, Roxie also runs a highly successful boutique PR, event management and marketing agency, Roxie and has just launched her new venture, Life Changer focusing on life and wellbeing coaching.

In 2019 Roxie undertook a complete health, weight loss and wellbeing transformation which has now resulted in the release of her first book, The Butterfly Plan, weight loss and wellbeing for women of a ‘certain’ age.

Roxie dedicates a lot of her ‘spare’ time to supporting local community groups and is an ambassador for the Geelong Animal Welfare Society, community ambassador for the Melbourne Vixens and sits on a number of Boards and committees including:

• The Salvation Army South West Region Advisory Board

• Geelong Contemporary (Geelong Gallery) Committee

• Geelong Pride Cup Committee

With two adult children, a partner, two dogs and a cat, Roxie keeps pretty busy but tries to find time to enjoy yoga, meditation and her real passion, oil painting!
